I think one of the reasons many people are so oblivious to the lyrics/symbolism etc... is that they're too busy drooling over him as a sex symbol and worrying about his private/love life.
They have no idea how intelligent he is, all of the different subjects that he studied and least of all, that there are so messages in his songs and videos.
