Prince Music Vault Being Shopped for $35 Million; 'Purple Rain' Deluxe Edition Coming Next Year: Source

"Prince's much-vaunted vault of unreleased music is being shopped for as much as $35 million by estate advisers Charles Koppelman and L. Londell McMillan, a source close to the situation tells Billboard. All three major labels are said to be in talks for rights to the music, the source said.

The complexity around the estate reached another level last week when Prince's Paisley Park studio complex in Chanhassen, Minn.,opened to the public for just three days after a full opening had been announced. A wrench was thrown into the process just days before the opening when the city council voted against a rezoning request that would allow Prince's estate to operate as a museum."

But I think there could be some truth to this article especially the part with Purple Rain Deluxe. I said a few months that the reason why WB didn't release it in 2014 is cuz they planned to do it after Prince "died" cuz now it will sell more. I also said that PR deluxe will be out before the end of the year, seems like I was close to the truth . It was most likely a part of the deal he made with WB, it's quite obvious now.I think they will sell the vault at some point cuz they definitely needs the money and WB will probably give them an offer they can't resist

The whole Warner Bros and the "I'll make them an offer they can't refuse" sounds very murdery.

Probably hype, to get a bidding war going or up the value of each release from the vault. Like he did in the past allowing Clive Davis and Arista(?) Records to release, advertise and distribute 1 album.

After fighting so hard for rights and ownership of his creations Prince wouldn't get free, own his masters and sell them right back.

In my opinion. This is just another card in the game. I saw last week that they were given another permit for 12 more day's at pp..
Prince wouldn't just let them come in and sell his master recordings, unless it was,  like you said, over his dead body.
Apparently the estate also has control over his images and videos. There is a lot of controlling going on here. Could it be... prince? Maybe.. I think so.
Apparently there has been no payment from the estate to his siblings, and they'll have to split the earnings from the tribute concert tonight.
But,  yet, Tyka looks like she  is doing well and there is a lot of money going in to pp.
Where is it all coming from? Hmmm...
Also, apples deleted her rant on fb about pp not being what prince wanted.

The money must come from Prince, I think he saved a lot from his recent tours so he probably has lots of money. Could he have money on a bank account abroad? like Switzerland? Kirk has been taking care of business for a while I think.  Funny, prince didn't tour much until the last few year's. Touring is where the money is made. I'm sure he know that, and did it to build up his money.
Kirk is also the manager at pp I think. He's been overseeing the whole thing.

I have mentioned in that thread that I think hes still alive but get the usual silly response "But Prince would never do this bla bla" and how he was possibly murdered so it's pointless to discuss it over there.

Also, I don't know how much Apples actually KNOWS. I think,  she may THINK she knows,  or have some idea.. I'm only saying this because I find it funny that she would post a rant and then remove it. If she knew, what would be the point.  Also, I was able to catch the actual post and read the comments and she was actually responding to people. Saying that NONE of it was what prince wanted, and that there were supposed to be more artifacts from the movie and all these different things.
Why delete it though. I'm sure prince didn't like it and may have asked her to.
I'm just unsure of what she may actually know.

I think the only reason for her to delete it is cuz someone asked her to, and its probably Prince. It feels like they rushed to finish everything in order to open the museum as soon as possible, could it be that Prince lets them handle everything but they didn't bother to followed  how he wanted it to be? That would be odd since he likes to control everything. I also think hes still there at pp every now and then, thats why they wont let visitors to see the second floor. Ur right, maybe she thinks that she knows how Prince wanted the museum to be or maybe its just her opinion and shes dissapointed that they didnt add more stuff from the movie etc

Sounds like someone isn't as in on things as they want to be.
Prince tried to get back together with her before all of this. She wanted her freedom instead.
