On the day Prince died his sister Tyka Nelson posted this strange message on her Facebook account.

What's the meaning behind it.

Prince laid down his life for his friends? This is a biblical quote attributed to Jesus Christ before he was voluntarily sacrificed and resurrected. Did she say Prince took himself out of the picture, to bring attention to his friends, protégées, fans/"fams"? What's Tyka trying to convey?

A few days later, after Prince died Tyka posted:

Yes it is a sad day and the winds of change have blown out a very bright light

The words: "Prince is not dead, not at all" stand out to me. Tyks has been quoted as saying Prince is alive so many times. Still she can always back track as saying she meant his work lives on but this is an odd statement. I'd love to hear everyones opinion if they'd like to share.

Tyka Nelson arrived the day of Prince's death with Purple hair smiling and greeting fans.
Her hair is not normally Purple or any other bright color, as far as we've seen. So, it looks as if her hair was died purple for the event of the day April 21st. In the world a lot of things were purple that day for the Queen's b-day and Prince's d-day.

The photo was taken of Tyka with Purple hair during the day. Prince died that morning so when did she dye her hair? After the death report or a head of time in preparation for the death report with foreknowledge of Purple being the color of the day for the Queen and Prince?

By the 22nd when Prince's body was going through a rush autopsy and cremation supposedly, Tyka's Purple hair was going Pink on the ends.
It takes black women forever to do their hair. Also it doesn't require washing everyday. News your brother died suddenly...after being awake 6 days straight do to a drug addition, during an intervention and you take take out time to do your hair? That's odd right? What's up with her hair?
One of the 1st clues I noticed was this woman's hair.
Any thoughts anyone...

So many interesting clues by Tyka, we should definitely keep an eye on her. In her recent fb post she talks about Prince in present tense "He loves U" she says. About her hair, I've been thinking about it myself, when did she have time to dye her hair? U can see it was all planned and part of the hoax."Prince is not dead not at all" so why would she say that? She clearly talk to much and could reveal the hoax. "Thank u for taking such good care of my brother" yes hes not dead, most ppl don't react to those clues but at least some of us do. I don't know if she leaves clues on purpose or as I said talk to much without thinking. I read that Sheila E also talked about Prince in present tense, that's interesting.

You're welcome I'm glad you appreciate it. I found the recent FB post from Tyka you were speaking of 9/30/16 where she says of Prince "He loves U". Thanks for the heads up. I don't follow Prince or any of his people online so it's hard to catch these things. I appreciate everyone's keeping us up to date on all of these Social Media quotable moments. If you find anything please get a screen shot and post it up to help the investigation.

Yeah I think Tyka would have been chosen by Prince to give away " clues " directly from himself. People who believe the official story may say its just Her writing style... But I've noticed Tyka is intelligent...but yeah it looks like she may have a hard time containing herself with all the attention.
For her hair to be Purple on Thursday afternoon and turning Pink on Friday mid day she had to have bleached it. Even if she had a hair dresser do it these processes take hours or days. If you rush it the hair may break off. So it looks as if she had to have dyed her hair a few days prior to the death announcement. On the same day she announced Paisley Park would be turned into a museum. Weird Right

It's like it was prepared for this day. Another thing, why give away pizza on a day like that when he just had "passed". Its not like ppl where there to eat and have a great time like its some party. I really found it odd to give away pizza like that. It was clearly a goodbye gift from Prince the boxes and free pizza

Right!
I could understand feeding the "fams" but Prince dieing is a disaster who would have thought about giving out prepackaged gifts and ordering food. Most people would be too busy crying, trying to figure out what happened and what to do next. Even in famous people's deaths family and staff still "act" fairly "normal".

Yes I think Tyka is chosen by Prince, he clearly speaks through her. Interesting info about her hair, all those details is important and as it seems she prepared her hair for this day. She never looked sad either

Yes it's like everything was planned in advance. I saw when they handed out the gifts smiling and seemed happy, thats strange.

I believe that 3121 memorabilia was contained in the gift boxes. Why 3121 memorabilia? That CD was released in 2006. 3121=4/21 or/and 3+1+2+1= 7. The number 7 is a number of completion

Good observation. It doesn't look like everyone received 3121 memorabilia according to the media but I haven't seen a box yet that had something else... Everything I've seen was 3121. If these boxes were given out on tour it makes sense that they would be on hand at Paisley Park. Still he died on Thursday morning by Saturday afternoon they are giving out boxes... That's still quick.
Were the employees told to smile? Plus Tyka announcing that weekend the museum will open soon...They wait until all of this transpires to put up police tape. Shouldn't the place have been left as is for the Death Investigation? This looks like a publicity stunt.

From the beginning it looks like a publicity stunt. To attract people to the museum...maybe
(If he turned his house/studio into a museum while he was alive, who would come?)

Good observation Thea about the boxes containing 3121 memorabilia.
And that's very true, if PP was turned into a museum while Prince was still alive, it certainly wouldn't attract the numbers that it would attract after his passing.
But it's obvious it was planned before he 'passed because the family mentioned turning pp into a museum only 4 days after he died.

Let's not forget the photos of Tyka coming out of the crematorium carrying the flaming hot Cheetos. I'm not sure if it's a clue, because Prince liked them or else it's a clue because she's leaving his cremation it's flaming hot Cheetos, like irony.
But we've never seen her looking or acting sad about her brothers passing.
The only time really I heard her seem close to tears was at the end of the ET interview the other day when she was talking about how many of his fans are hurting. To me she sounded like she was holding back tears.

As for the possible meaning behind John 15:13, I don't know. It could mean for him to stay out of the spotlight to allow more for his protégées etc as Rainbowblue said, but to be honest, prince was not really in the spotlight much before he passed and a lot more attention has been given to anyone who was connected to Prince at all since his passing.
Maybe to teach us about not trusting or believing the media. I don't know but it definitely was an interesting passage for her to quote.
